A design studio ethos
Design, sustainability & budget - 3 core principles of Deep Blue Design.
We believe a house should breathe, soak in the views, orient to the sun, and also retreat in shade. A house that is grounded in local materials and textures, but is dramatic, while at the same time insulating, protecting, and introducing passive climate design, is a good companion for our daily lives and honours our own region & place. Sustainability is not an afterthought but intrinsic. Each home belongs in its place- in dialogue with the surroundings, light, and intertwined with the landscape & streetscape.
We shape a building; in turn, it shapes us.
Our home should be a place that heals the soul.
